The Master’s Program in Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir at UIN Saizu Purwokerto focuses on the advanced study of the Qur’an, tafsir methodology, ‘ulūm al-Qur’ān, classical and contemporary exegesis, Qur’anic hermeneutics, thematic interpretation, living Qur’an studies, and the relevance of Qur’anic values in addressing modern social, educational, cultural, and religious issues. The program is designed to develop graduates who are able to analyze Qur’anic texts critically and contextually, conduct rigorous research in Qur’anic studies, integrate Islamic scholarship with contemporary academic approaches, and contribute to the development of moderate, inclusive, and transformative Islamic thought within local, national, and global contexts.

  • Higher Secondary: 1) A recent official photo with a red background (maximum size 10 MB); 2) A scanned copy of the Income Statement of both parents/guardians (salary and other income) certified by the salary treasurer (for employees) or by the Village Head (for non-employees); 3) A scanned copy of the Family Card (KK); 4) A scanned copy of the 2024 or 2025 Land and Building Tax (PBB) payment receipt; 5) A scanned copy of the 2026 or March electricity bill payment receipt; 6) A photo of the front, back, and bathroom of the house compiled into one PDF file as per the format in Attachment 1; 7) A scanned copy of the Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK); 8) A scanned copy of the Health Certificate and Drug-Free Certificate with the following requirements. • Prospective new students residing in Banyumas Regency are required to upload a Health Certificate and Drug-Free Certificate issued by the Isyfina Medika Clinic, UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto; • Prospective new students temporarily residing outside of Purwokerto must upload a signed statement stating "I will undergo a drug test at the Isyfina Medika Clinic, UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto" according to the format in Attachment 2. 9) Scanned Statement of the Truth and Validity of the UKT Documents. (Attachment 3)
