About University of Business and Technology
The University for Business and Technology (UBT), licensed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and accredited by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, was established in Prishtina in 2001 as the Institute for Enterprise Management and Engineering (IEME). Since 2004, it has operated under its current name. Today, UBT has six campuses across Kosovo and centers in Vienna, Budapest, and Tirana.
UBT is an entrepreneurial, innovation-driven ecosystem university, dedicated to advancing smart systems, sustainability, resilience, and convergence technologies. Its academic portfolio spans engineering and technology, business, law, social sciences, medicine, health sciences, and life sciences.

Sustainability and SDGs
UBT has embedded the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its strategy. An Institutional Committee on Promoting and Implementing SDGs coordinates policy, monitoring, and global engagement. The years 2023 and 2024 were declared Years of SDGs, with dedicated institutional strategies, actions, and international conferences focused on Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainability.
