Located in West of Amman, the University of Petra is home to nine faculties on a friendly campus, housing more than six thousand undergraduate and graduate students in the faculties of Arts and Sciences, Administrative & Financial Sciences, Pharmacy & Medical Sciences, Information Technology, Architecture & Design, Law, Mass Communication, Engineering and Dentistry. The University is a hub for creating knowledge through research, developing skills, applying knowledge to new technologies, and technology transfer. The university has a friendly-use campus to unleash students' minds to new horizons of thought, philosophy, and logic. It provides an intriguing environment of freedom of thought, inquiry, interactive and blended learning, and R&D facilities. UOP is keen in developing an outreach program for community development and engaging in regional and international science for bridging with other scientists, journals, and symposia to bring science to solve social problems, open new employment opportunities, and eradicate poverty. UOP achieved ABET, ACPE, ASIC, ASIIN, ISO 9001:2015, and Quality Assurance Certificate from AQACHI. Furthermore, it has been ranked as one of the top universities in Jordan by QS, THE Impact, U-multirank, Green Metric, Webometrics, RUR, and UniRank.
